Software setup

Last stretch, and the easiest one. Download Joyeuse, get past a single Windows warning, sign in with your license, and point it at your screen.

Draft   The dashed bits follow Joyeuse's actual screens, which only you can pin down. The flow and the Windows-warning step are right; the exact clicks are placeholders for you to fill.

1. Download and run

  1. Download Joyeuse from your account / download page and run Joyeuse.exe.
  2. Windows will flag it as "from an unknown publisher." That's expected - we don't ship a paid code-signing certificate yet, so Windows doesn't recognize the publisher; it isn't a verdict on whether the app is safe. Click More info → Run anyway.
Why the warning

Windows SmartScreen warns on any app from a publisher it hasn't seen signed before. Every new tool hits this until it builds reputation. Nothing about Joyeuse changes whether you click through - it's the same download either way.

2. Sign in

  1. Enter your license key to sign in. license key vs account email + password - whichever the loader uses
  2. First launch pulls down what it needs - give it a moment. confirm what the user sees on first launch (progress, a one-time download, etc.)

3. Point it at your game

  1. Choose your capture card as the video source. where this lives in the UI
  2. Connect to your device. the device-connection step / what "connected" looks like
  3. anything the user sets here vs. what Joyeuse handles automatically - keep it to intent-level, per the grandpa-in-5-min rule

4. Confirm it's working

You're set when describe the "it's alive" signal - e.g. you see the game in the preview and boxes land on targets in the Firing Range.

If it goes wrong

Joyeuse can't find the capture card
fix - usually it's the capture step from Part 2 (the PC isn't seeing the signal yet).
It won't connect to your device
fix
Signed in, but nothing's happening
fix
That's the whole setup.

Controller through the Titan, screen into the PC, Joyeuse watching. Go play.
